DeftApt Solutions Inc. ("DeftApt," "we," "us," or "our") operates deftapt.com (the "Site") and the services offered through it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly, when you submit our contact form or specialist application form:

• Name and email address
• Company name and company size (client inquiries)
• The nature of the support you're looking for, and any details you share about your situation
• For specialist applicants: category of work, years of experience, availability, a link to your portfolio or professional history, and anything else you include in your application

Information collected automatically. Our Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not currently use cookies or trackers for advertising purposes. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in the future, this policy will be updated to disclose them before they go live.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to inquiries and evaluate specialist applications
• Match clients with specialists appropriate to their needs
• Communicate with you about your inquiry, application, or engagement
• Improve our services and understand which parts of our Site are useful to visitors
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How Your Information Is Shared

We share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site and our services, currently including Formspree for form submission handling. As our business grows, we may engage additional service providers, including customer relationship management and payment processing platforms, to support the same purposes described in this policy. Any such provider is contractually or otherwise required to handle your information only for the purposes we've engaged them for.
• Specialists and clients directly involved in a match, to the extent necessary to facilitate an introduction and engagement — for example, a client's stated needs are shared with a specialist being proposed for that engagement.
• Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DeftApt, our users, or others.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. As a general practice, contact and application data is retained for up to three (3) years following your last interaction with us, unless a longer retention period is required by law or you request earlier deletion. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 8 below.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at management@deftapt.com. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants you additional statutory privacy rights, including under Canadian federal or provincial privacy law, or applicable United States state privacy law, those rights apply to you as provided by law, in addition to the rights described here.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a revised policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
